To shine a spotlight on animals that are often overlooked, Petfinder created Adopt-a-Less Adoptable Pet Week this week. **Double Adoption** One year old Simba (Adoption #SCR3139) and two year old Sushi (Adoption #NCI2607) recently lost their (separate) homes, but found a new one in the room they shared at Bianca’s Furry Friendship Discovers Friends Cat Adoption Center.
While Simba was agitated by the changes in his life, Sushi was an encouraging mentor, correcting Simba’s overly energetic behavior and showing him a more appropriate way of maintaining friendships.
Animal League America loved seeing the missing pieces of the puzzle come together and would be thrilled to share the brotherhood they created with an experienced adopter who has the quiet, predictable home that we know these delicate ones have boys would enjoy it. Mama Lefkada (adoption #H211337) is exhausted after providing excellent care for her kittens. Now that she’s safely off the streets and mothering is behind her, she’s regaining her confidence in human hands. This deserving 2-year-old tabby would be best settled into her first home with the guidance of a cat-savvy adopter and a household (with all children over the age of eight) that will spread a calm vibe so she knows she is safe. If your heart is open to offering her a peaceful place to settle down, Lefkada is ready to leave her past strife behind and join you in a peaceful future.
**Double Adoption** When 4-month-old Mystique (female) (Adoption #H211521) and Magneto (male) (Adoption #H211522) arrived from their local rescue center, Animal League America immediately saw that they loved it would like to spend forever together, nurturing each other through the changes in their lives. You’ve experienced the hardships of growing up outdoors; Now they are ready to enjoy the good times that lie ahead with their first family in the house. Their quiet home (with children aged six and over) is the destination they dream of. They’ll be enchanted by this pair of tuxedo kittens, and we hope this leads to the happy ending they deserve!
**Double Adoption** When life seems overwhelming; It helps to have a sister by your side. Shy 5-month-old Havana (adoption no. G28801) and her braver sister Palma (adoption no. G28803) will all experience life’s firsts together, so we’re looking for a family who will remove all concerns and share their heart opens to new adventures. Palma is already showing Havana how much fun toys can be. Just a little gentle encouragement is all it takes to brighten up their days and you will have the cutest cherubs to call yours!
**Double Adoption** After Lollipop (Adoption #H211633) and Candy Corn (Adoption #H211634) fend for themselves outdoors, they’ve been offered a sweet life together indoors! Although they are shy around people, they have gained a lot of confidence knowing that they are sharing this journey. Do you have experience integrating anxious cats into domestic life? Can you provide them with a quiet place to settle (with all children over the age of six) to make the transition into a family predictable and smooth? You can have everything these sweet treats need to succeed!
Five-month-old liquorice (adoption no. H211645) was offered the opportunity to reside in it forever. His local rescuer even gave him some time in their own home before taking him to Animal League America for safety. Licorice lived with other cats in his foster home and would benefit from a confident cat in his next home who would teach him the ropes. A quiet home (with children over the age of eight) will help him adjust quickly. Animal League America is excited to introduce this shy mini pet panther to his wonderful new family – hopefully very soon!
When 4-year-old Sally’s (adoption #R164904) family moved away, she wasn’t part of their move plan. Animal League America is excited to welcome her back and she is very grateful for the opportunity to find a new home for herself. A family with children over the age of ten and no other pets will help Sally succeed. She’s already expressed her appreciation for loving attention – ear massages are her favorite! This slim beauty has a little white spot under her chin just waiting for you to scratch it forever!
Seven-year-old Rudy (Adoption #H207576) has lost the only home he’s ever known, but with an open heart he looks to his new friends in Animal League America to help him cope with the changes, that he’s going through. They are thrilled to be by his side as they find him someone who will adore him. His vets have put him on a diet to get him back in top shape and this sweet boy can look forward to having more energy to explore his home, but not too much as his favorite pastime is cuddling! You may be able to tell from her name that Luscious is a very affectionate and smart tuxedo cat. She looks like she even painted her toes to match the outfit! Luscious loves to play and be pampered. Holly had mistletoe when she was very young, so the two grew up together. Holly is outgoing and friendly to everyone she meets, while Mistletoe takes a little time to learn to trust people. Holly and Mistletoe would do well in a household with children and other cats. It would be wonderful if the two were adopted into the same family.
