In a quiet week on Netflix, Cobra Kai Season 5 held the #1 spot on the streaming service’s weekly Global Top 10 list for September 12-18, Netflix announced yesterday. It’s been #1 for two weeks and is back at #1 on the daily top 10 charts on Wednesday 21 September. But it could be overtaken tomorrow by Ryan Murphy’s Jeffrey Dahmer limited series, directed by Evan Peters, which releases today. On the movie side, the Minions continue to dominate, with the Despicable Me franchise that occupies three of the 10 spots on the list.

But popular doesn’t necessarily mean good. Below we list the top 10 movies and shows on Netflix and give a brief assessment of whether they are really worth watching or not. We also added what’s new on Netflix today so you can find out what’s on tomorrow’s top 10 list.

New Netflix shows and movies today
